Subject: Amends existing law which exempts a professional employee in the computer software field from certain overtime compensation requirements if the employee is primarily engaged in work that is intellectual or creative, the employee's hourly rate of pay is not less than a specified dollar amount, and the employee meets other requirements. Provides that the exemption applies to an employee who earns a specified hourly rate or with a specified annual salary.

Subject: Repeals a provision of the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 which sets specific per-unhoused-pupil grant eligibility levels. Increases, by a certain percentage, the per-unhoused-pupil grants, including grants for individuals with exceptional needs, that were in effect pursuant to the provision and further increases these grants by a specified percentage on a specified date. Requires the State Allocation Board to increase specified grants made to qualifying individuals with exceptional needs.

Subject: Allows taxpayers to designate on their tax returns, that a specified amount in excess of their tax liability be transferred to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Provides that all moneys contributed to the fund pursuant to these provisions, be allocated to the Franchise Tax Board and the Controller for reimbursement of cost and to the University of California for the support of ovarian cancer research.

Subject: Enacts the Unborn Child Pain Awareness Act. Requires, with an exemption for medical emergency, the physician performing the abortion to offer the pregnant woman information and counseling on fetal pain. Require the Department of Public Health to develop a related brochure and a waiver form. Requires the Medical Board to adopt regulations for revocation or suspension of medical licenses for violation of these provisions. Authorizes a civil action.
